Reagan McNerney joins dental practice in Magee
Dr. Reagan McNerney, DMD, of New Hebron, has recently joined the practice of Dr. Foozy Dyer, DMD, in Magee.
McNerney is a graduate of New Hebron Attendance Center, Lawrence County High School, Mississippi State University, and the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry.
At Mississippi State, she graduated with honors in Biochemistry. She was the recipient of the Donald and Phyllis Ford Foundation Scholarship, the Barry and Lana Knight Endowed Scholarship, the Go Lightly Endowed Scholarship, the Delta Agriculture Exposition Scholarship, the Association of Retired Faculty Charles Lindley Leadership Award, the Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation Scholarship, and the Mississippi Rural Dentistry Scholarship. She is a member of Delta Gamma Sorority.
McNerney was president of the MSU College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Ambassadors and the Pre-Dental Society. She was one of 50 freshmen inducted into the Lambda Sigma National Honor Society. She held the position of chairman of the Mississippi State Student Association Senate. McNerney was active in volunteering with the Habitat for Humanity, Community Animal Rescue and Adoptions Foundation, and Boys and Girls Club. She was a student dentist volunteer for the Christian Light Foundation of Costa Rica and the Honduras New Enterprises International.
At UMMC, Reagan was chairperson and volunteered at the Jackson Free Clinic. The clinic is a student-run non-profit organization offering medical, dental, and psychiatric services, physical therapy, and occupational therapy to uninsured patients in the Jackson metropolitan area.
She is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Mississippi Association of Women Dentists.
