‘Life of Christ’ to be presented Nov. 28

The churches of Lawrence County and the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce are excited to present the “Life of Christ.” The event, now in its eighth year, will be presented from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, at the Atwood Water Park in Monticello.

The event will feature area churches depicting scenes from the life, passion, and resurrection of Christ. The event is drive-thru, and admission is free.

A CD with songs and scripture that relate to the scenes will be issued to each vehicle.

Organizers are excited to offer this event in a year when many other Christmas events may face cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Extra precautions, such as sanitation of the CDs, will be conducted to make visitors as safe as possible.
