Monticello Marketplace

The annual Monticello Marketplace was held Saturday in downtown Monticello. Broad Street was closed from the Courthouse to the Civic Center for the event. The crowd and number of vendors was down from previous years, apparently victims of concerns about COVID-19. Those who came out for the event seemed to have a good time and enjoyed having a place to go for a few hours. Many events of this type have been scaled back or totally canceled. There was good food, music, and fun for the kids. Hopes are that the event can return to normal levels next year.
