Billie Jean Sistrunk

Billie Jean Sistrunk, 89, passed away on Oct. 30, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Monticello. Graveside services were held Nov. 1 at Tilton United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Billie was born on May 29, 1931, to Ado and Fleeta Renfroe, and was a member of Monticello United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family. She loved to work in her yard, flowers, going to antique auctions, and gardening.
Those preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Creighton Sistrunk; four sons, Wayne, Mike, Joe, and Brian Sistrunk; sisters, Virginia Harvey and Mary Price; and brother, Jack Renfroe.
Survivors are two daughters, Reba Rutland, of Monticello; Pat Mullins (Donnie), of Monticello; sister, Migonne Thames, of Ruth; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends that will miss her dearly.
