School meal program extended

Lawrence County School District is currently participating in the Summer Food Service Program. The extension of the program allows all children ages 0-18 to receive a meal each school day. The program began Sept. 14 and will extend through May 25, 2021.
Meals will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. There will be one meal pick-up each day for children who are not attending school on site. Each meal will include breakfast and lunch.
Meals will be available for pick up each school day from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Monticello Elementary School, Rod Paige Middle School, New Hebron Attendance Center, Topeka-Tilton Attendance Center, and Lawrence County High School.
