Return to classroom delayed until Sept. 14 for county students

Lawrence County School District teachers have been busy preparing for the return of students to school campuses. In addition to preparing recorded video lessons to teach through distance learning, they have been preparing classrooms for the Sept. 14 return. These teachers have spent many hours creating classrooms that are both engaging for students and emphasize health and safety, with the use of social distancing between student desks and the use of desk shields as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.
