School board qualifying deadline Sept. 4

The deadline for qualifying to run for the Lawrence County District Five School Board seat is 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4. Anyone wishing to run must submit qualifying papers with the Lawrence County Circuit Clerk by that time. The race will be on the Nov. 3 ballot.
