Guard plans hurricane support in Monticello

More than 50 Mississippi Army and Air National Guard senior leaders and planners met at the Monticello Army National Guard Readiness Center on Aug. 15 to plan statewide logistical operations for any potential National Guard support to civil authorities for 2020 and 2021 hurricane seasons.
Monticello is home of the 184th Sustainment Command, an expeditionary sustainment command, and they are responsible for planning and leading the sustainment effort to ensure that soldiers and airmen are properly supplied with food, equipment, fuel, and repair parts during any large scale relief operation.
