Nate Lambert

Nate Lambert, 84, of Arm, passed away Aug. 8, 2020, at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello. A funeral service was held Aug. 12 at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, with graveside services following at Arm Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Matt Robinson officiated, with Wilson Funeral Home handling arrangements.
Nate was born Aug. 23, 1935, in Lawrence County, to Ben and Lucy Lambert. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a kind-hearted man who enjoyed playing music and singing. He was a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church in Silver Creek. He was the life of the party at Lawrence County Nursing Home. Nate will be dearly missed by everyone.
Those preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Frankie Lambert; and son-in-law, Benji Peavy.
Nate is survived by his wife, Frances Lambert, of Silver Creek; six children, Charlotte Robbins (Don), of Jayess; Shannon Lambert (Julie), of Monticello; Beverly Johnson (Terry), of Jayess; Darlene Fuller, of Brookhaven; Marty Trott (Michael), of Silver Creek; and Shane Lambert (Tobie), of Silver Creek; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Elma Ruth Blankenship (Enis), of Lumberton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
