Glyn W. Daniels

Glyn W. Daniels, 79, of Silver Creek, passed away July 19, 2020, at his residence. Funeral services were held July 21 at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia. Rev. Darel Daniels officiated. Interment followed at Hepzibah Cemetery. Colonial Funeral Home handled arrangements.
A native of Lawrence County, he worked as a crane operator in the oil field and later owned Daniels Trucking. He was a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church.
Mr. Daniels was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Daniels and Heddy Branton Daniels; sisters, Myrtle Smith, and Lujean Harvey; and brother, Robert Daniels.
Survivors include his wife, Iva M. Daniels, of Silver Creek; a daughter, Robin Daniels and fiancé Eric Thurman, of Silver Creek; a son, Clay Daniels and wife Tammy, of Silver Creek; a sister, Alene Smith, of Silver Creek; six grandchildren, Patrick Turnage, Ryan Turnage, Clayton Daniels, Kayla Roberts, Joey Daniels, and Lacey Sanders; and ten great-grandchildren.
