Martha Irene Russell Garrett

Martha Irene Russell Garrett passed away June 19, 2020. Services were held June 21 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello. Bro. Jimmy Harvey officiated.
Mrs. Garrett was born March 7, 1937, in Georgetown, to A.D. Hinson Russell and George Bowskey Russell. A lifelong resident of Monticello, she married Tom Garrett and was a homemaker. Her interests included singing, brightly-colored clothes, and enjoying her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Mary Yvonne Russell May.
Her remaining family includes her sons, Kevin Garrett and wife Angela, of Madison; Rusty Garrett and Anita Hotard, of Monticello; grandchildren, Ryane Rogers (Cory), of Madison; Rhianna Reeder (Kyle), of Oxford; and great-grandchildren, Tinsley Rogers, Maris Rogers, Harper Reeder, Ames Reeder, and Ezra Reeder. Other special relationships include Britney (RD) Guess, Samantha (Ryan) Reeves, and her dear friends, Zelda Davis and Lorraine Hyde.
