Many volunteers from the area helped clean up the yard of Grady and Pat Blankinship after a recent storm downed numerous trees.
Grady and Pat Blankinship, of Silver Creek, are grateful
for the help they received recently after a storm downed many trees at their home. U.S. Rep. Michael Guest; his field representative for Lawrence County, Jimmie Nichols Jr.; and staff assisted in cleanup, along with many others from the area.
“Our yard was covered with so many trees that there was not any window views from inside our home. These men worked tirelessly to get them cleared. During this time of seemingly overwhelming obstacles, God reminds us that He will give us his grace and mercy and send someone to help HIS children,” the Blankinships said.
They would also like to thank the following for their help: Sutton McRae, Justin Hollingsworth, William “Bill” Moss, Jack Honea, John Henry, Mack Honea, Gouh Clark, Hutson Hollingsworth, Sam Oh, Cale Taylor, Tyson Taylor, Chad Dixon, Brady Stewart, Billy Henderson, Lenell Smith, Johnnie Bines, and Kelvin and Tiffany James.
