Sabra Ann Riley Sullivan

Graveside funeral services for Sabra Ann Sullivan were held on Saturday, April 11, 2020, in the Collins City Cemetery. Mrs. Sullivan, 85, passed away from this life on Wednesday, April 8 in Hattiesburg. The Rev. Dr. Joseph Bird officiated. Wade Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Serving as pallbearers were Chris Brister, Zach Burnham, Dustin Couch, Wally Jones, Frank Riley Jr., and Jason Riley.
Sabra Ann Riley Sullivan was born on April 28, 1934, in New Hebron to George H. Riley Sr. and Mary Nell Hutchins Riley. Mrs. Sullivan was a retired registered nurse, having graduated from the Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, in Jackson. Mrs. Sullivan was a member of the Eastern Star and a member of First Baptist Church of Collins.
Preceding Mrs. Sullivan in death were her mother and father; her husband of 61 years, George Thomas Sullivan Jr.; and three brothers, George Henry Riley Jr., Frank Walker Riley Sr., and John Mark Riley.
Survivors are two daughters, Dr. Sabra Sullivan Majure and her husband, Troy, of Ridgeland; and Keleigh R. Sullivan Mathis, Esq. and her husband, Michael, of Mt. Olive; one son, George Thomas Sullivan III and his wife, Renee’, of Mendenhall; one adopted son, Greg Davis, of Collins; three grandchildren, Julie Ann Sullivan Mathis, Zoe’ Sabra Sullivan, and Jeremy Puckett; one brother, Joe Lee Riley and his wife, Karen, of New Hebron; one sister, Nell Riley Myers, of Brandon; three sisters-in-law, Charlotte Riley and Elizabeth Riley, both of New Hebron; and Sybil Sullivan Truebe, of Kissimmee, Fla.; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, friends desiring to do so are asked to make memorials to The Collins Baptist Church Wednesday Night Children’s Meals Program at P.O. Box 997, Collins, MS 39428.
