In response to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Lawrence County School District is offering lunch to aid local families affected by school closures. A drive-through grab-n-go meal program is now in place at New Hebron Attendance Center, Rod Paige Middle School, and Topeka-Tilton Attendance Center. The program is open 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Children ages 18 and under eat free and must be in the vehicle to receive a meal. Adults ages 19 and over in each vehicle may purchase a meal for $3.50 each. No ID is required to obtain meals and only cash in the exact amount will be accepted, as no change will be available.
