Louise Rutland Sauls
Louise Rutland Sauls went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 13, 2020. She was born on October 17, 1927, to Jesse and Minnie Rutland in Lawrence County.
Mrs. Sauls was a long-time resident of Lawrence County and was employed as an EMT at the Lawrence County Hospital for many years before her retirement.
She had a servant’s heart and was always active in church, being a Sunday School teacher, choir member, Training Union Director, Bible School Director and more.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Jesse and Minnie Rutland, and her brother, Hunter Rutland. He husband, W.S. (Buddy) Sauls, passed away in 2011.
Mrs. Sauls is survived by her sisters, Jo Ann Rogers and Gwen Kyzar, and her two daughters, Mary Givens and husband, Toxie, of Brandon and Kay Morgan and husband, Toby, of Richmond, Virginia; grandchildren. Her grandchildren are Toxie Givens II and wife, Kelly, of Jacksonville, Florida, and Courtney Frisby and husband, Bob, of Brandson. Her three great-grandchildren are Tad Givens, Lyndsey Givens and Fallon Frisby. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Sauls Valley Baptist Church, Saturday, February 15, with burial following at the Sauls Family Cemetery.
We, her daughters and family, wish to thank all of you friends and family for the love and support given to our precious Mom through the years. We know she is celebrating in Heaven with Jesus and Daddy.
