Joy Lee Mason

Funeral services for Joy Lee Mason were held Monday, February 3, 2020, at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, with burial following in the New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Bro. Ken Hedgepeth officiated the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Mason, 75, of Sontag, passed from this life Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Bedford Care Center in Hattiesburg. He was born on October 19, 1944, in Monticello to Ed and Blanche Prine Mason.
Joy Lee retired from Georgia Pacific after 30 plus years. He enjoyed the outdoors and gardening.
Preceding him in death were his parents’ sister, Nola Ferguson, and brothers, Ray, Ben, Bobby and Gene Mason.
Survivors are his sons, Lee Mason and Brian Letchworth; daughters, Heather Atwood, Amanda Prince and Jody Letchworth; brothers, Dennis and Buster Mason; sister, Ann Owen, and eight grandchildren.
