Dalton L. Wallace

Mr. Dalton L. Wallace, 82, of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at Merit Health Central Hospital in Jackson. Dalton was born July 22, 1937, in Jayess to Troy and Dezzie Wallace.
Services were held Friday, December 13, 2109, at Divide Methodist Protestant Church in Monticello, with graveside services following in Tilton United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. LaDon Dawson and Bro. Carlos Dawson officiated the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Dalton was a long time member of Divide Methodist Protestant Church and was a Gideon. He loved his Lord and his children and grandchildren.
Dalton is survived by his wife, Artelia Wallace of Jayess; children, Todd Wallace and wife, Anna, of Olive Branch, Renee Shaffer of Orange Beach, Alabama, and Brian Wallace and wife, Tina, of Richland; grandchildren, Ashley Covington, Amber Sawyer, Nicole Smith, Jason Wallace, Cody Wallace, Caitlyn Wallace, Krystal Wallace, Caleb Wallace, Ashley Vaugh, Emily Cole, Landon Cole, Jordan Wallace and Janee Wallace; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ladon Wallace and Darry Wallace, and sister, Glenda Rutland.
Those preceding him in death were his parents; wife of 52 years, Bobbie Jean Carney Wallace, and one son, Larry Keith Wallace.
