Anita Faye Pugh

The funeral service for Mrs. Anita Faye Pugh was held at Noon, Thursday, October 24, 2019, at Monticello Baptist Church, with interment at the church cemetery.
Mrs. Pugh, 85, of Monticello, passed from this life October 22, 2019, at Lawrence County Hospital. She was born March 10, 1934, to her parents, Marion Frank Trawick and Kathryn Ellen Sark Trawick. Mrs. Pugh was employed at the Lawrence County Hospital as an Insurance Clerk before retiring. She was a member of Monticello Baptist Church. A true woman of faith and values, she loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them and spending time with each one. She also enjoyed her faith family, going to her Sunday School class and worship at Monticello Baptist. She will be missed by all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Terry Trawick, and son-in-law, Randy Foster.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years, Joseph Earl Pugh; daughters, Debra Faye Foster, Suanne Foster and Vicki Darlene Godwin; sister, Shirley Ann McCall; five grandchildren, Stacey Foster, Joseph Foster, Skye Smith, Mady Foster and Douglas Godwin; four great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
