Elizabeth Foster Rutland

Mrs. Elizabeth Foster Rutland, 79, of Ruth, passed away at home on October 5, 2019. She was born January 19, 1940, in the Tilton Community of Lawrence County. She was a 1958 graduate of Topeka-Tilton High School. She was a retired supervisor for 40 years for Kellwood Manufactory Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobson E. Rutland Sr.; her father and mother, Albert Foster Sr. and Johnnie Mullins Foster, and one brother, Albert Foster Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Rusty (Vicki) Rutland of Jayess and Todd F. (Leeanne) Rutland of Ruth; four grandsons, John Rutland, Lane Rutland and Joe Lee Rutland, all of Jayess, and Hobson T. Rutland of Ruth; one brother, Billy (Jeanette) Foster of Monticello, and several nephews and nieces.
Services were held Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at Sauls Valley Baptist Church, with burial at Tilton Methodist Church Cemetery following.
Bro. Winston Fortenberry and Bro. Scott Johnson officiated the services. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the services.
Pallbearers were John Rutland, Lane Rutland, Joe Lee Rutland, Hobson T. Rutland, Darrell Foster and Dale Mullins. Honorary Pallbearers were Greg Ray, Jamey Ray and Tony Rutland.
