Janice Blanchard Bridges

On September 21, 1962, Janice entered the world that God created. She was born to her mother, Idell Blanchard. This day was full of joy because God ordered and mandated purpose for Janice’s life. Janice fulfilled that purpose with humor, laughter, and love. She received her call to go home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 24, 2019.
Janice was married to Willie Ray Bridges. They were blessed with three children, Broderick, Coty, and Ebony Bridges.
She was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved reading her Bible, attending special occasions, shopping, playing spades, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends and family. Janice loved people! She attended Harrison and Lawrence County School Districts, where she made life-long friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Nita Blanchard, and her mother, Idell Blanchard.
She leaves to cherish her memories devoted special friends Annie Ruth Buckley, Sandra Stewart, Donnell Simms, Ira Martin and Donald Earl “Duck” Weathersby (and many more); a special nephew, Kenyan Blanchard and god-daughter, Shalonda Bennett; one sister, Brenda Blanchard, and one brother, Cleo Blanchard (Pat); three children, Broderick Rayon Bridges, Coty Denise Bridges and Ebony Nicole Bridges; eight grandchildren, Jamari, Jakia and Iamiri Payne, Kingston Bridges, Tacori Vanison and Raju Neapollioun, and Rayn and Railyn Bridges, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
