Roy Maston Reynolds
Mr. Roy Maston Reynolds, 79, of Monticello, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Roy was born April 8, 1940, in Ruth to Ulysses Maston and Dezarie Anglin Reynolds.
Services were held Saturday, August 31, at Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello, with graveside services following in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Michael Smith and Bro. Archie Herrin officiated the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Carroll Case, Travis Reynolds, Jake Reynolds, Mikell Sandifer, Seth Reynolds and Terrell Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were The Hezzie Williamson Sunday School Class of Bethel Baptist Church.
Roy retired from the Mississippi Army National Guard, where he worked as a supervisor in the maintenance department. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He loved spending time outdoors with his family and friends.
Roy is survived by his wife, Alicia Reynolds of Monticello; daughter, Susanne Moore of Monticello; grandchildren, Brady, Micah and Elliott Moore of Brandon; sisters, Udell Harrell of McComb and Mary Magdalene (Judy) Hammack of Panama City, Florida; brothers, Coy Reynolds of Sontag and Henry Reynolds and wife, Linda, of Monticello, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Ulysses Maston and Dezarie Anglin Reynolds, and daughter, Tara Elizabeth Reynolds.
