Mary Louise Lambert

Ms. Mary Louise Lambert, 96, of Monticello, passed from her life Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Golden Living Center in Brookhaven. She was born October 7, 1922 in Purvis to William Houston and Nita Marie Roberts.
Services were held Monday, August 26, 2019, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, with graveside services following in Rock Hill Cemetery. Bro. Glynn Hilton officiated the services and Curtis Lambert sang, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Lambert loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Monticello United Pentecostal Church. She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and friend to many. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her children, Janell King and husband, Sidney, Sue Helminger and Wayne Roberts; eight grandchildren, Owen King and wife, Beth, Dawana Morgan and husband, Duane, Tommy Smith and wife, Dara, Linda Cabrera and husband, Mitch, Debbie Berrand, Michael Roberts and wife, Tina, Lisa Davis and husband, Bruce, and Elizabeth Melton; 15 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and five sisters, Juanita Burrows, Irene Ladner, Inez Garriga, Pearl Dubuisson and Vergie Favre.
Preceding her in death were her parents; grandson, Jerry Smith; granddaughter, Shelia Ann Roberts and four sisters, Catherine Smith, Doris Neal, Helen Smith and Lessie Mae Roberts.
Pallbearers were Tommy Smith, Michael Roberts, Byron Givens, John Favre, Billy Favre and Donald Dubuisson.
