Mary Sue Herron

Mrs. Mary Sue Herron, 76, of Monticello, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019, at the Aston Court Retirement Home in McComb. She was born June 2, 1943, in Jayess to Dewitt William and Maggie Martin Alexander.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Michael Smith officiated the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sue was an active worker in her church, Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello. She worked for several years as a cashier at Wal-Mart and Ramey’s and enjoyed working at the polls.
She is survived by her son, Michael Rushing, and wife, Charemon; one sister, Pearline Givens, and three grandchildren, Benjamin Rushing, Erin Rushing and Jaime Diasselliss.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Bill Herron; daughter, Tammy Diasselliss; four brothers, WP, Cecil, Hugh and James Alexander, and two sisters, Charlene Daniels and Earlene Knowles.
