Edwin E. “Eddie” Rogers

Graveside services for Mr. Eddie Rogers were held Friday, March 1, 2019, at New Hebron Cemetery. Mr. Rogers, 89, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb. Reverend George Owens and Reverend Earl Clark officiated.
Saulters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Edwin E. “Eddie” Rogers was born in New Hebron October 28, 1929, to Sylvester Rogers and Gladys Sills Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a Corporal in the United States Army, and he served in the Korean War. He was a retired brick mason in the construction industry. He was a member of New Hebron Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father and one sister, Edwina Lee.
Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Rogers of New Hebron; two daughters, Melissa (Aaron) Hagan of Hong Kong and Dana Rogers of Dallas, Georgia; one son, Edwin Earl (Laura) Rogers, II of Brookhaven, and three grandchildren, Kirksey, Kiley and Chloe Hagan.
