Donald Foster

Mr. Donald Foster, 68, passed away December 18, 2018, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Donald was born October 31, 1950 in Brookhaven to Elza and Mary Smith Foster.
Services were held at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, Friday, December 21, with graveside services following in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Sontag. Bro. Joey Faulk and Bro. Kevin Crozier officiated the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Donald owned and operated Fosters Chevron in Prentiss and also retired as a rural carrier with the United States Postal Service. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He loved his church family. He also loved spending time outdoors, classic cars, going to car shows and collecting old Coca Cola memorabilia.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Boyte Foster of Monticello; son, Wesley Foster of Prentiss; grandchildren, Matthew Foster (Kari), Sam Foster (Madison), John Foster and Gracyn Sistrunk; one great-grandchild, Jonah Foster; brothers, Wayne Foster (Sharon) and Bo Foster (Colette), and sisters, Diane Smith (Mike) and Kathy Russell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Jackie Hathorn Foster.
