Jamie Rutland

Mr. Jamie Rutland passed away Monday, October 22, 2018, at University Medical Center in Jackson. Jamie was born February 3, 1965, in Tylertown to Charles Ray and Mildred Day Rutland.
Services were held Thursday, October 25, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, with graveside services following in Tilton United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Scott Johnson will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Jamie worked in the construction business for many years. He loved spending time outdoors. He was a loving father, brother, husband, grandparent and friend.
Jamie is survived by his wife, Regina Rutland of Jayess; sons, Lavell and Lance (Kimberly) both of Jayess; mother, Mildred Rutland of Jayess; two brothers, Joey and Jimmy Rutland, and four grandchildren, Sawyer, Nathan, Chloe, and Sophi.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ray Rutland.
