Robert Carrol Lea

Robert Carrol Lea passed away at the age of 81 Monday night at Baptist Hospital after a brief illness.
He retired as Monticello postmaster, then spent his remaining years in Wanilla, where he was born and raised. Always enjoying hunting, fishing, camping, and playing dominoes, he most enjoyed the times spent with family and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Dell and Margaret Lea, and brother, Charles, all of Wanilla.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Maggie; his children, Tim and his wife, Debbie, Sissy and her husband, Tony, and Joe and his wife, Mary.
He had five grandchildren, Matt, Josh, Briana, Rachel and Dylan, and four great-grandchildren, Alexis, Emma, Carter and soon-to-arrive Easton Carrol.
