Zolon C. Ward

Mr. Zolon C. Ward was called home from this life June 11, 2018, at his residence in Silver Creek. Zolon was born March 21, 1930 in Silver Creek to Sebron and Emily Ward.
Services were held Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home with graveside services following in Old Arm Cemetery. Bro. Richard Green officiated the services, with Wilson Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Vent, Tom, Bruce, Toxie and Swan, and two sisters, Sabie and Damie.
He was retired from the oilfield, and after retirement he and his son-in-law, Steve, started M&S Construction. Zolon loved spending time with his grandsons and great-grandchildren.
Surviving Zolon are his wife, Celeste Fortenberry Ward of Silver Creek; daughter, Carmen, and husband, Steve Garrett of Silver Creek; two grandchildren, Joshua Garrett and wife, Kail, and Will Garrett and wife, Amanda, and five great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Walker, Beau, Nolon and Emma Garrett.
