Margie Marie Bourne

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 20, 2018, at James Chapel M. B. Church in Pinola for Mrs. Margie Marie Dampeer Bourne, 60, who died Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Magee. Rev. Jerry Magee, Sr. officiated, with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Margie Bourne was born to the late Leon and Beulah Dampeer. She was a member of James Chapel M. B. Church. She attended New Hymn Attendance Center and graduated from Pinola High School in 1975. She later attended Prentiss Institute and formerly worked at Magnetek Manufacturing for many years and in the Simpson County School system.
She was married to the late Clarence Bourne.
She is survived by one son, Kelvin Bourne; one granddaughter, Alana Bourne, both of Pinola; two sisters, Willie Cole of Jackson and Ordemese Epting of Pinola; two brothers, Franchie (Diana) Dampeer of Pinola and Devon (Janice) Dampeer of Magee and many other relatives and friends.
