Margaret Jane Prestridge

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Jane Prestridge were held Sunday, February 3, 2018, at the Old Hebron Baptist Church. Mrs. Prestridge, 63, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018, in Jackson. Reverend Terry Phillips and Reverend Ray Hodges officiated and interment was in the New Hebron Cemetery.
Saulters Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Scott Hunt, Charles Welch, Charlie Mullins, Anthony Hunt, Casey Hunt and Cameron Welch. Honorary pallbearers were Bryce Prestridge, Jonathan Prestridge, Brett Prestridge and Brantley Prestridge.
Margaret Prestridge was born September 22, 1954, in Lawrence County to Charles Edward “Rusty” Mullins and Sippie Dampeer Mullins. Mrs. Prestridge was a homemaker. She was an active member of the Old Hebron Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and one brother, Jerry Mullins.
Mrs. Prestridge is survived by her husband of 43 years, John A. Prestridge, Jr. of New Hebron; one daughter, Kayla (Andrew) Terry; three sons, Dereck (Shantel) Prestridge of Jayess, Charles (Kayla Ann) Prestridge of Florence and Joe Prestridge of New Hebron; one sister, Gladys (Ray) Hodges of Silver Creek; one sister-in-law, Betty Jo Mullins of New Hebron; two brothers, William (Marylin) Mullins of New Hebron and Charlie (Truly) Mullins of Silver Creek; and eight grandchildren, Bryce Prestridge, Jonathan Prestridge, Brett Prestridge, Brantley Prestridge, Chloe Prestridge, Hayden Keenum, Isabella Prestridge and Miranda Terry.
