Shannon Sappington

Mrs. Shannon Sappington, 40, of Monticello, was called home from this life Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at her residence in Monticello. Shannon was born January 29, 1977, in Bogalusa, Louisiana, to James Myler and Connie Emmons.
Memorial services will be held on a later date.
Shannon enjoyed cooking and gardening and loved spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
Surviving Shannon are her husband, Aaron Sappington of Monticello; father, James Myler of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; sister, Krystal Erwin of Tylertown; brother, Joseph Erwin, also of Tylertown; stepfather Henry Erwin of Gloster, and mother-in-law, Rose Sappington of Monticello.
Preceding her in death was her mother, Connie Erwin, and her sister, Samantha Emmons.
