Kent King

Kent King, 64, of Monticello was called home from this life on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello. Kent was born December 26, 1952, in Brookhaven to Wilford and Sarah Calcote King.
Memorial services will be held on a later date.
Kent was retired from Advance Auto Parts as a store manager. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also loved to hunt and fish and spend time outdoors.
Surviving Kent are his daughter Rebekkah Byers of Monticello; sons Jeremy King (Candace) of Sylacauga, Alabama and Jamie King of Monticello; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren and sister, Mary Ann Tillman.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Wilford and Sarah Calcote King.
