Jimmy Wayne Roberts

Jimmy Wayne Roberts, 74, of Monticello, passed away at the Courtyard Rehab on December 2, 2017.
He was born on May 1, 1943, to the late J.B. Roberts and Erma Calhoun Roberts.
He was a retired electrician and the owner of Roberts Electric. He was a member of Monticello Baptist Church and was a gospel singer.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his daughter, Michelle Roberts.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sherry Roberts; son, Tony Roberts of Collierville, Tennessee; daughter, Sonya Schwarzauer of Sumrall; step-daughter, Gina Thurman of Monticello; sisters, Cherry Lambert and Billie Price Shealy, both of Flowood, and brother, Carroll Roberts of Sumter, South Carolina.
He is also survived by his six grandchildren.
Mr. Roberts will have a private memorial at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bethel Baptist Church.
