Hollis Slocum

Mr. Hollis Slocum, 89, of Silver Creek, passed away November 5, 2017, in Prentiss. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.
Mr. Slocum was born March 29, 1928, in Marion County. He was the son of Dan Slocum and Effie Dykes Slocum. He was a Roustabout in the oil and gas industry.
Mr. Slocum is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Katherine Slocum; one son, Daniel (Kasey) Slocum of Silver Creek and one step-daughter, Kathy Dunnaway; six grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three daughters.
