Allene Holloway

Funeral services for Allene Holloway were held on Friday, November 17, 2017, in the Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Holloway passed away from this life on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Brookhaven. Reverend Tim McCaffrey officiated and interment was in the Arm Cemetery.
Saulters-Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Albert May, Robert May, Keith May, Jerry Cox, Daniel Holloway and Joseph Shiflao.
Kathryn Allene May Holloway was born December 24, 1922 in Lawrence County to Oscar Robert May and Gladys Sutton May. Mrs. Holloway was a retired school secretary and a member of Monticello Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Henry Grayson Holloway; one sister, Mildred Boyd, and three brothers, Ray May, James Earl May and Produs May.
Mrs. Holloway is survived by her son, John L. Holloway (Martha) of Silver Creek; two grandchildren, Lori Adams (Nathan) of Nashville, Tennessee and Daniel Holloway of San Francisco, California, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
