Woodell Lambert

Funeral services for Woodell Lambert were held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, with burial following in the Woodell’s Family Cemetery in Jayess. Bro. Ray Bowling officiated the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lambert, of Jayess, passed from this life on April 15, 2017, at St. Dominic Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 12, 1938 in Lawrence County to Clyde and Nell Lambert.
Woodell worked as a boilermaker starting with the Local Union 693 out of Pascagoula all his working days. He loved his family, cars, gardening and fishing. He will be remembered for his watermelon patch, and his favorite hobby was treasure hunting. His sweet smile and his calm voice will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Nell Cupstid Lambert and half-brothers, Cullen and Durrell Lambert.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Comeaux Lambert of Jayess; one son, Brent Lambert of Jayess; one daughter, Lisa Marie and husband Shane Smith of Jayess and grandson, Braxton Smith of Jayess.
