Services for Mrs. Lillian Jeanette Alexander of Jayess were held Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Calvary United Pentecostal Church with burial at the church cemetery.
Mrs. Lillian Jeanette Alexander, 70, passed away February 21, 2017 at Lawrence County Nursing Center.
She was born on December 29, 1946 and was a member of Calvary United Pentecostal Church and worked nights as an LPN, EMT and ER nurse at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello for 36 years, where she enjoyed caring for others and being with co-workers.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Henry Ford and Lenace Dunaway; husband, Jack Melvin Alexander and daughter, Lora Linette Alexander.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Brian Melvin Alexander; brothers, David Paul Dunaway and wife, Linda, and Bobby Ray Dunaway and wife, Theresa; sister, Bonnie McGee and husband, Nathan, and a host of nieces and nephews.
