Mary L. “Lou Lou” Kyzar Thames

Services for Mary L. “Lou Lou” Kyzar Thames were held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home. Rev. Bren Smith, Rev. Jeff Davis and Rev. Jason Scheel of Beebe, Arkansas, officiated the services. Mrs. Thames, 64, of Monticello passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at her residence. She was born October 20, 1952 to her parents, Ray and Verine Beard Kyzar in Lawrence County.
Lou Lou was an avid fisherwoman, talented musician and singer, an experienced cook and waitress, a bus driver for Lawrence County schools for twenty-six years and a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Verine Beard Kyzar and her sister, Betty K. Martin.
She is survived by her children, Renzie Ballard and husband Mike of Monticello and Joseph Ben Thames and wife Jessica of Brookhaven; one brother, Raymond Kyzar and wife Nelda of Jayess and three sisters, Barbara K. Estave of Summit, Rev. Linda Kyzar of Beebe, Arkansas and Julia Frazier and husband Mike of Monticello. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Cee Cee and Mak Mak of Monticello and Amber, Shawn and Jacob Thames of Brookhaven; very special friends, Wanez Ballard and Carolyn Ballard of Monticello and numerous nieces and nephews.
