Carey Ballard, 79, was called home from this life on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello. Mr. Ballard was born December 1, 1935 in Lawrence County to Toxie Ballard and Cornelia Lambert Ballard.

Services were held on Monday, July 13, 2015 at New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello. Bro. Joey Faulk officiated the services. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
