W.P. Alexander, a resident of Baton Rouge, La., died Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at his home. He was 82 and a native of Jayess. Religious service was held Friday, July 15, 2011 in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Huey Moak. Interment followed in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker, La.
