Funeral services were held Monday, June 20, 2011 at New Zion M. B. Church, Oakvale, Mississippi for Miss Lashanda Yvette Brent, 38, who died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at University Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS. Rev. Floyd Frelix officiated with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
