Mrs. Katherine P. “Mama Katherine” Boyd, 85, of Pascagoula, formerly of Jayess, died Friday, May 7, 2010, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula. Funeral services were held Friday, May 14, 2010, at Powell’s Grove United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Timothy Maine and Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
