Edgar Bridges, Sr.

Mr. Edgar Bridges, Sr., 94, a native of Monticello, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2009 at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2009 at M. W. Stringer Grand Lodge, 1072 John Lynch Street, Jackson at 12 noon. Visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Home, 1-8 p.m. Wake services will be Friday, September 18, 2009 at M.W. Stringer Grand Lodge at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Pearl River Valley Church Cemetery, Monticello. Johnson Funeral Home, Prentiss, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, make donations to: Alive Hospice, Brookhaven; M. W. Stringer Grand Lodge Grand Palace of Children Education Fund, Jackson; or New Life Fellowship Church, Monticello.
