Talmadge D. (Billy) Carr, Jr., age 80, of Hazlehurst, passed quietly away into the Lord’s hands on Saturday, January 24, 2009, after suffering from several illnesses the past few months. Graveside services will be held in Crystal Springs at Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday, January 29 at 1:00 p.m. Chancellor’s Funeral Home of Byram will be in charge of the services.
