Evelyn was called home by our Heavenly Father at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center – Mid City. She was 82 years of age, born on February 07, 1926, a native of Monticello, Mississippi, and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visitation was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday with a religious service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service was held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Tilton United Methodist Church Cemetery in Jayess, Mississippi.
