Funeral services were held Saturday, January 12, 2008 for Hugh Vernon Strong, 82, who died January 10, at the Lawrence County Hospital. Services were held at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery, Silver Creek.
