Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Riverwood Chapel in Brookhaven for Joe Ann Yvonne (Mama Joe) Thurman, 71, of Madison, who died October 11 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Burial was at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello. Riverwood Family Funeral Services in Brookhaven was in charge of arrangements.
