Funeral services were held Saturday, September 22, 2007 at North Pleasant Hill M. B. Church, New Hebron for Bessie Fortenberry, 99, who died Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at Jefferson Davis Extended Care Facility. Rev. Moses Johnson, pastor, officiated with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
