Rena Mae Gholar Oatis, 89, died early Tuesday morning July 3, 2007 at the Boyington Nursing Facility in Gulfport. Services for Mrs. Oatis were held on Saturday July 7, 2007 at the Shady Grove M. B. Church in Silver Creek, with Pastor Joseph Lewis officia­ting. Interment was in the Shady Grove Cemetery, with Laird Mortuary, Inc. in charge of all arrangements.
