Funeral services for Perry Vernell “Como” Showers, 44, were held Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at the Fair Hill M.B. Church, with Pastor Burgess Jointer officiating. Interment was in the Maye Family Cemetery with Laird Mortuary, Inc. in charge of arrangements. He died on Thursday, May 24 at his home in rural Lawrence County.
